What we do
HYSACalc.com is a free site for high-yield savings math. We build calculators that show you exactly how much you will earn at a given APY, how compound interest works year by year, and which accounts pay the most this month.
Why we built it
Most savings calculators hide the math behind a simple result. Ours show every monthly step, every year, and let you compare two scenarios side by side. The goal is to make it easy to see why a higher APY matters and how regular contributions stack up over time.
How we keep rate data fresh
We check rates from each bank's official rate page weekly. The FDIC national average is updated from the FDIC weekly rate cap data. Every rate on the site has a Last Updated date so you know how current it is. The methodology page lists every source.
How we make money
